A number of amendments and additions are being introduced to the Code on Administrative Responsibility through the document. In particular, Article 74 (violation of water use and water consumption rules) is being supplemented with fines for burying ditches and irrigation systems in population points and district and city centers:
for citizens – from 1 to 3 times the base calculation amount (from 412 thousand soums to 1 million 236 thousand soums)
for officials – from 5 to 10 times (from 2 million 60 thousand soums to 4 million 120 thousand soums).
Furthermore, violations of the rules for using and consuming water from artificial water flows (open and closed canals, collector-drainage networks), water bodies (reservoirs, mudflow accumulation sites, basins, and others) and other artificial water facilities, careless use of water, and unauthorized execution of hydraulic engineering and other works will also result in fines.
According to current rules, if citizens are fined from 1 to 3 times the BCA and officials from 5 to 10 times, starting from June 28th these amounts will be:
for citizens – from 3 to 5 times the BCA (from 1 million 236 thousand soums to 2 million 60 thousand soums)
for officials – from 7 to 10 times (from 2 million 884 thousand soums to 4 million 120 thousand soums).
If the aforementioned offenses are repeated within one year, the fine amount will be further increased:
for citizens – from 5 to 7 times the BCA
for officials – from 10 to 20 times (up to 8 million 240 thousand soums).
