Illegally installed ATMs in Uzbekistan will be dismantled. This was announced yesterday, March 24, at the press conference held at the AOKA by the Deputy Director of the Cadastre Agency Mirsaid Mirmaqsudov informed.
According to Mirsaid Mirmaqsudov, control measures are being undertaken against the illegal placement of ATMs, and this process will continue regularly in collaboration with the Central Bank.
“At the moment, I don’t have exact figures on how many ATMs have been dismantled. However, operations are constantly carried out. This can be confirmed by the Central Bank or commercial banks”, said Mirsaid Mirmaqsudov.
Responsible authorities have also reported intensifying measures to detect and remove ATMs installed in violation of legislative requirements.
