The rapid operation was carried out by the employees of the State Security Service's Tashkent city department in cooperation with the Department for Combating Economic Crimes and the city's Interior Ministry.
During the operation, the head of a preschool educational institution in the Olmazor district was caught with material evidence when, gaining the trust of a citizen who wanted to engage in entrepreneurship, he took $8,500 in exchange for leasing four school football fields in the Shaykhontohur district through an auction with the help of his official acquaintances.
Currently, a criminal case has been initiated against the head of the preschool institution under Article 168, part 2, clause “a”, and Articles 28,211 part 1 of the Criminal Code, and investigative actions are being conducted.
In another case, the head of the preschool and school education department of one of the districts in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, using his official position and in collusion with the chief specialist of this department, was detained by the officers of the State Security Service, the Department for Combating Economic Crimes, and the internal affairs when he demanded 15 million Uzbek soms from a teacher active in school, in exchange for assisting in her appointment as the head of a preschool educational institution in the district, and received the money through the chief specialist.
Currently, a criminal case has been initiated against the mentioned individuals under Article 168 of the Criminal Code, and investigative actions are being conducted.
