In accordance with the relevant decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Chairman of the "Mehr va muruvvat" Public Fund Aziz Oppokovich Turaev was awarded the "Mehnat shuhrati" order.
It is noted that the award was given for his many years of effective work in state administration bodies, his services in the development of science, education, culture and art, the enhancement of the cultural and intellectual potential of the people, and the promotion of reforms being implemented in New Uzbekistan.
Furthermore, his training of highly qualified personnel, support for young people, upbringing of them in the spirit of love and loyalty to the Motherland, as well as his active participation in social life were also deemed worthy of this award.
Aziz Turaev was awarded the state award on the occasion of his 90th birthday.
