Renowned show-business journalist and blogger Jasur Hamroev passed away on April 5th at the age of 42. According to information spread across networks, the journalist’s death was due to kidney failure.
Jasur Hamroev began his career at the "Darakchi" newspaper, later created and worked as the chief editor for the show-business specialized website shov-shuv.uz. In 2024, he also opened The Addresses magazine.
He also served as the chairman of the "Adolat" party's council in Yakasaray district, Tashkent city. Hamroev had over 900,000 subscribers on his YouTube and Instagram pages combined.
The funeral will take place on April 6th in Bukhara. On behalf of the editorial team, we express our condolences to the family of the deceased.
