The Ministry of Internal Affairs Academy  hosted an extraordinary conference of the Volleyball Federation here.

 The agenda included the nomination of the Republic of Uzbekistan's Minister of Internal Affairs, Major General Aziz Anvarovich Toshpulatov, for the position of president of the Uzbekistan Volleyball Federation, which was unanimously approved by the conference participants, and he was elected as the president of the federation.

Also, nominations for the chairpersons of the Volleyball Federation's regional departments in Andijan, Bukhara, Namangan, Qashqadaryo, Surkhandarya, Sirdarya, Khorezm, and the city of Tashkent were proposed.

The heads of the regional Departments of Internal Affairs and the head of the Tashkent city Department of Internal Affairs unanimously elected the chairpersons of the regional departments.

In addition, during this event, within the framework of the "Five Initiatives Olympics," a ceremonial start was given to the volleyball competitions for the "Minister of Internal Affairs Cup" aimed at ensuring the implementation of the decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated April 11, 2022, on "Measures to bring the involvement of young people living in neighborhoods into mass sports to a new level" under the decree PQ-201.
