Operational measures carried out in the Fergana and Khorezm regions revealed that drug trafficking continues in a shadow economy. During operations carried out jointly by the State Security Service and the Ministry of Internal Affairs, illegal drug trafficking, their smuggling into the country, and the involvement of many individuals in the chain of trade were revealed.

He was caught selling hashish for 240 million soums.

A resident of the city of Margilan, born in 1991, was detained while selling 1 kg 524 grams of "hashish" smuggled from the Republic of Tajikistan for 240 million soums. According to the preliminary investigation, the drugs were brought into the country not for sale, but for the purpose of chain distribution.

Medicines hidden in the car and in the yard

In a Lacetti parked in the Yaz'yavan district, 799 units of Zardeks and 40 units of Tropicamide were found. Another 1,679 units of "Zardeks" and 48 units of "Tropikamid" were seized from the residence of the same citizen. These drugs should be dispensed in the pharmacy only by prescription, but their illegal circulation poses the same risk as drug addiction.
Thousands of "Lyrics": consecutive seizures

2,239 units of potent "Lirika" drugs were found at the temporary residence of another citizen from Margilan. During the investigation, it was established that these drugs were brought from Kyrgyzstan by an unknown person, a resident of the Fergana district, born in 2001.

Trade in opium and heroin in Khorezm

During an operation conducted by the Khorezm regional department of the service, two individuals - a previously convicted citizen born in 1960 and his accomplice born in 1980 - were detained for attempting to sell 802 grams of "opium" substance on the "Samarkand-Khorezm" route.

In the city of Urgench, two individuals were caught red-handed selling 499 grams of opium and 12 grams of heroin for 11,500 US dollars. Another 351 grams of "opium" were found in a basement room in the courtyard of one of them. It was established that the drugs were smuggled from Afghanistan.

Ex-convict who hid opium

In the Khazarasp district, 989 grams of opium were found in the house of a previously convicted citizen, born in 1962. According to official data, this drug was also smuggled from Tajikistan.
