In the meeting held by the President, it was pointed out that outdated requirements and bureaucracy in the standardization and certification system are “tying the hands” of entrepreneurs, leading to corruption in the field as indicated here.

More than 25,000 standards and 41 technical regulations do not meet international market requirements. Currently, about 13,000 types of goods require mandatory certification for about 6,500 of them, which increases the cost.

“When have ministers and governors listened to entrepreneurs, thought about which standards to update, which to cancel, or what products to remove from the mandatory certification list? Unfortunately, there is no positive response to this,” stated the President firmly.
