Shavkat Mirziyoyev received Yermek Kosherbayev, who visited our country on an official visit on March 31. At the beginning of the conversation, the guest conveyed the sincere greetings and best wishes of the head of state Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
The meeting discussed issues of strengthening the relations of close friendship, strategic partnership and alliance between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. The active cooperation at the level of parliaments, governments and business circles was noted with satisfaction.
The sides emphasized the effective work of the joint Intergovernmental Commission and noted the growing volume of trade. Particular attention was paid to expanding cooperation in the fields of industry, energy, transport, ecology and water use, launching cooperation in rare metals, and developing tourism and humanitarian exchange programs.
In addition, views were exchanged on the preparation of the agenda for future bilateral and multilateral events, as well as on issues of international and regional policy.
