A woman living in Istanbul decided to divorce her husband because she couldn't contact him after the earthquake. This incident was reported by lawyer Ergyun Kazanir via the social network X.
According to the lawyer, he was approached by a local woman. According to the woman, after the earthquake, she went down from the house with her child, settled in the yard, and with difficulty called her husband. Her husband told her that he would come soon, so the family members were waiting for her in the courtyard, with the phone running out of battery.
When her husband returned, the woman asked him for a phone to call her relatives. The Turkish woman who received the smartphone learned that immediately after the earthquake, her husband had not called her first, but his mother, who lives in a private house in the city of Düzce, 200 kilometers from Istanbul.
As lawyer Ergyun Kazanir noted, he first encountered such a problem - the dilemma of who to call first after the earthquake: his mother or his wife.
As a result, the client paid 250,000 lira for the lawyer's services and stated that she had no intention of continuing life with someone who didn't prioritize her.
Recall that on April 25, a new earthquake with a magnitude of 4.3 occurred in Istanbul. Several strong tremors occurred in the western part of the city.
