Famous entrepreneur Elon Musk, leading the Neuralink company, is working on an advanced technology that will restore the ability to see through the human brain. This was reported by zamon uz referring to Musk on Fox News channel here.
According to him, the chip known as "Blind-Sighted" directly communicates with the vision cortex of the brain and could provide hope to those with vision impairments.
Neuralink company hopes to achieve significant results in this field within the next 12 months.
Musk emphasised that the company is not limited to vision restoration alone — it is also working on devices that could restore the ability to walk for people suffering from spinal cord injuries.
