Shavkat Mirziyoyev ordered the reassessment of the suitability of six district governors for their positions, as they avoided responsibility instead of resolving entrepreneurs' problems and failed to effectively utilize allocated funds.
At the meeting, it was sharply criticized that funds allocated for entrepreneurial infrastructure were not fully utilized, and in some regions, projects had not been started at all. It was specifically noted that governors failed to use the resources provided to them effectively, and instead, brought problems to the republican level to justify themselves.
Furthermore, the relevant regional governors were instructed to promptly draw conclusions regarding district leaders who are "unable to pull their cart" (i.e., incapable of fulfilling their duties) and to take concrete measures to improve management efficiency.
