In the first half of the day today, the head of our state participated in the opening ceremony of the Regional Environmental Summit, and also visited the "EXPO" International Exhibitions Center, where he familiarized himself with the national pavilions of Uzbekistan and other countries. There, he held a meeting with Inger Andersen, the Executive Director of the UN Environment Programme.
On the same day, the leader of Uzbekistan also delivered a speech at the meeting of the heads of founding states of the International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea.
After the events concluded, the President departed for Tashkent. At the Astana International Airport, our head of state was seen off by Serik Zhumangarin and other officials.
