Today, on June 30, a ceremony to present the "Kelajak Bunyodkori" medal and the "Mard O'g'lon" state awards took place at the Olympic City in Tashkent on the occasion of Youth Day. President Shavkat Mirziyoyev awarded a group of active and talented young people who are making a worthy contribution to the development of the country.

The head of state congratulated the youth who, with their knowledge, talent, initiative, and dedication, are contributing to the development of New Uzbekistan, emphasizing that a great responsibility rests on their shoulders.

"You are the worthy successors of our great ancestors, who in their time made an incomparable contribution to the development of world civilization with their great discoveries, who were the 'light of intellect' of the First and Second Renaissance. Of course, succession is not only a pride but also a huge responsibility," said the President.

According to Shavkat Mirziyoyev, just as the ancestors undertook great deeds for the progress of humanity, today's youth should become the main force creating the foundation of the Third Renaissance in New Uzbekistan.

After that, the President ceremoniously presented the "Kelajak Bunyodkori" medal and the "Mard O'g'lon" state awards to their recipients.

"On behalf of our entire people, I once again sincerely congratulate the holders of today's state awards. May this high recognition inspire you toward new achievements and milestones. May your ranks grow even wider," said the head of state.

The awarded youth expressed gratitude for the opportunities being created in the country and emphasized that they are ready to continue making a worthy contribution to the development of the Motherland with their knowledge and labor.
