The last bell will ring in schools at the beginning of the week. Various reports are circulating on social networks about the prohibition of this event, and restrictions being imposed. The Ministry of Preschool and School Education has responded to these reports.

According to the ministry, these reports are completely baseless and the last day of the current academic year falls on May 25, Sunday – a day off, which is why the last bell events are scheduled for May 24, Saturday.

“The last bell leaves unforgettable impressions in everyone's life. Especially for the 11th-grade graduates stepping into a bigger life, the significance and value of this day are extraordinary. On one hand, parting forever with dear classmates, loving teachers, and the beloved school is not easy. On the other hand, there's the thrill of stepping into an independent life, the call of new achievements, and the joy of studentship. This truly becomes a real celebration,” the report says.

The ministry additionally mentions that the tradition of celebrating the last bell events in schools with high spirits and festivity will continue this year as well.

“We only ask our school communities, our graduates, and our respected parents to adhere to safety regulations during the event!” the ministry's report states.
