According to reports, during a rapid operation conducted in cooperation between the Fergana regional department of the SSS and the regional customs department, a Nexia-3 model vehicle driven by a citizen born in 1986 living in Fergana city was stopped and inspected in the territory of the Bagdad district. As a result, 413 units of 8 types of unguaranteed quality pharmaceuticals were found in the car's cabin.
Furthermore, when inspecting 2 warehouses located in the Bagdad district and belonging to the said citizen, a total of 60 types of 100,332 units of pharmaceuticals without quality certification were found to be illegally stored and were documented in a procedural order.
The rapid operation continued, and from a warehouse located in Fergana city, 39 types of 16,897 units of illegally stored pharmaceuticals were seized as physical evidence.
During the conducted rapid operations, a preliminary total value of 117,642 units of unguaranteed quality pharmaceuticals worth 8 billion 1 million 429 thousand sums were temporarily seized.
The operations in this direction are continuing, and in three hidden warehouses belonging to a citizen born in 1992 and residing in Margilan city, 15 types of medical devices including catheter needles, tourniquets, electronic thermometers, and tonometers, totaling 30,000 units and worth 400 million sums brought in through alternate routes from the Kyrgyz Republic, were found to be stored and were officially documented in a procedural order.
It is reported that preliminary investigation actions are currently being conducted regarding these cases.
