During a peaceful demonstration held by members of the Jewish community in Boulder, an unknown male threw a bottle filled with a flammable mixture towards them.
According to witnesses, while committing this brutal act, he shouted "Freedom for Palestine!" The suspect has been arrested, according to the police.
The FBI has been involved in the investigation.
Their statement indicates that this incident is being investigated as a "premeditated act of terrorism."
Most tragically, those injured range in age from 67 to 88 years old — some of them hospitalized with burns, while others have various types of physical injuries.
The governor of Colorado, Jared Polis, wrote the following words on his social media page:
"I strongly condemn this evil act of terrorism and wish a speedy recovery to those injured."
