A man who threatened a woman by distributing her indecent videos and demanding money was apprehended in the Muzaobod district of Surkhandarya region. The press service of the regional DIA reported this.
During rapid operational measures conducted by relevant authorities in the Muzaobod district, a citizen born in 1986 in the same district was found to have obtained videos of a woman—born in 1985 in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, and a citizen of the Russian Federation—in a naked state. He then threatened to distribute these videos on social networks.
The individual demanded $1,000 USD from the woman. He was caught red-handed while receiving the money, having already obtained $900 and 1,250,000 soums from the victim's friend, a resident of Termez city born in 1988 in the Shurchi district.
Regarding this incident, the investigative department under the Termez city DIA has initiated a criminal case under Part 1 of Article 165 of the Criminal Code, and preliminary investigative actions are currently underway.
