On August 2 of this year, some houses in the city of Zarafshon in Navoi region were flooded due to a burst water pipe. The Ministry of Emergency Situations reported this.
It was reported that at 01:50 at night, water overflowed due to the rupture of an industrial-technical water pipe with a diameter of 1250 mm, belonging to the "External Water Supply Unified Energy Service" Pump Station No. 6 in the city.
As a result of the water overflow, water seeped through the walls of houses on Taraqqiyot Street, causing damage to some homes.
According to the Ministry, emergency responders quickly arrived at the scene and eliminated the consequences of the incident using special equipment. No injuries have been confirmed.
