On August 18 at 21:40, in the territory of Buka district, the supply of natural gas to all consumers in the district was halted due to a collision by an excavator—a motor vehicle—with an underground high-pressure gas pipeline.
According to official data, among those left without gas supply are 12,512 households and 267 large consumers.
Gas supply personnel are currently carrying out repair work. Once the work is completed, the restoration of gas supply will be announced.
