Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev emphasized that the country continues to increase its military power and called on the people to always be ready for war. This was reported by the Anadolu Agency.
"The processes in the world are passing so quickly that no one knows what will happen tomorrow. The guarantee of our security is ourselves, our Armed Forces, and our people. Those who want to provoke will regret it," said Aliyev.
According to the president, the most modern drones, artillery systems, and fighter aircraft have been brought to Azerbaijan.
It was reported that new contracts have been signed and existing equipment is being modernized.
Aliyev also commented on the peace agreement with Armenia, emphasizing that all articles in the document are based on the official Baku position.
"Now, a land route will be opened from Azerbaijan to Nakhchivan by rail and automobiles," he concluded.
