At the invitation of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, His Majesty King Abdullah II ibn Al-Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan will be on a state visit to our country on August 25-26.
The main events of the high-ranking guest's visit will take place in the city of Samarkand.
The summit's agenda includes issues of developing political, trade-economic, and investment cooperation, establishing cooperation in the fields of chemistry, pharmaceuticals, agriculture, textiles, mining, and other sectors, as well as expanding cultural and humanitarian exchanges.
Views will also be exchanged on current aspects of international and regional policy.
At the conclusion of the negotiations, the signing of a package of bilateral agreements is planned.
