On September 7, 39 citizens of Uzbekistan living illegally in the U.S. were deported from the country. The U.S. Embassy in Tashkent reported this.
According to the statement, this deportation was carried out as part of ongoing measures to strengthen U.S. border security.
"The United States is firmly committed to stopping illegal immigration and ensuring border and citizen security. Those who enter the country illegally are detained and deported," the official statement said.
It is noted that the Uzbek government is closely cooperating with the U.S. in carrying out these processes.
Previously, in April of this year, 131 citizens of Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan were deported from New York to Tashkent.
