The President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, announced plans to establish a Ministry of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development to accelerate the country's digital economy.
Through this initiative, the head of state aims to modernize the governance system and widely introduce artificial intelligence technologies across all sectors of the economy.
The new ministry will be formed on the basis of an existing profile ministry and will be headed by a specialist with the status of a Deputy Prime Minister.
At the same time, the swift adoption of the "Digital Code" has also been identified as one of the key tasks.
