A security warning was issued to Uzbeks in Istanbul.

The Consulate General asked citizens to avoid crowded places and strictly follow local rules.

The Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Istanbul has recommended that citizens enhance their security measures due to the protest demonstrations taking place in the city.

The following measures have been implemented by the Turkish government until September 11th:

Mass events have been temporarily banned in six districts,

Including the Besiktas district, where the Consulate General of Uzbekistan is located,

There are restrictions on the activity of some foreign messengers.

The Consulate General recommends the following to Uzbek citizens:

— Stay away from crowded places;

— Do not approach areas where protests are taking place;

Comply with local rules and regulations.
