In Karakalpakstan and Kashkadarya, corrupt doctors were arrested.

In Karakalpakstan, an employee of the Shoshilinch Medical Aid Scientific Center was caught red-handed while taking 32 million soums after promising to help a citizen with employment.

In Kashkadarya, the head of the personnel department of the Karshi District Medical Association was detained while taking a bribe of $1,000 in exchange for getting a citizen a job at a polyclinic.

Criminal cases have been initiated in both instances, and investigative actions are ongoing.
