In Khorezm, a Cobalt first collided with a Nexia and then hit a 2-year-old child standing on the sidewalk, resulting in the child's death. This was reported by the DIA of the Khorezm region.
The incident occurred on September 17 at around 9:00 AM at the first kilometer of the 90V062 automobile road in the "Angarik" neighborhood of Yangiaryk district. A 34-year-old driver, while attempting to turn left in his Nexia car, was being overtaken by a Cobalt car driven by a 33-year-old driver coming from behind.
However, it collided with the Nexia car, lost control, and hit a child born in 2023 who was standing by the roadside on the sidewalk. The child died at the scene of the incident.
Regarding the situation, preliminary investigative and operational actions are being carried out by the investigative group of the Yangiaryk district department of internal affairs.
