On September 20 of this year, at approximately 13:00, a fire broke out in the territory of the Burchmulla state forestry in the Bustonliq district of the Tashkent region, adjacent to the village of Yakkatut.

This was reported by the Agency for Forestry and the Expansion of Green Areas and the Fight Against Desertification.

Forestry officials, more than 40 employees, 10 volunteers from the local fire rescue group, and employees of the district Department of Internal Affairs arrived at the scene of the incident. Through their efforts, the fire was completely extinguished at 14:40 on the same day.

It was reported that as a result, dry grass burned on an area of about 1.5 hectares. The fire occurred as a result of citizen S.D., born in 1956, a resident of Yakkatut village, violating technical safety rules while welding a metal drinking water pipe.

An administrative protocol has been officially drawn up against this citizen in accordance with Part 3 of Article 84 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
