In Tashkent, drivers of a BYD and a Gentra argued and clashed over a road dispute. The Tashkent City Department of Internal Affairs provided official information regarding the incident.
According to the report, on March 19 of this year, a dispute that arose between the drivers of a BYD and a Gentra car on Muqimiy Street in Yakkasaroy District resulted in a pregnant woman sustaining bodily injuries and losing her child.
According to the information provided, the incident began when one of the drivers attempted to move into the right lane. During the argument, the BYD driver and a close relative assaulted the second driver, broke his car windows, and physically assaulted his pregnant wife.
The Tashkent City Department of Internal Affairs reported that a criminal case has been initiated regarding this incident under the "Hooliganism" article of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan. All participants of the incident have been detained.
A forensic medical examination has been appointed to determine the exact causes of the fetus' loss. After the experts' conclusions are issued, the legal qualification of the criminal case may be reviewed.
