Large-scale rapid measures were carried out in the Namangan region against the wholesale and retail trade of illegal medicines and medicines without a quality certificate.
During raids conducted in cooperation with the Department for Combating Economic Crimes, the State Security Service, and Customs authorities, medicines not included in the state register, lacking certificates, and some of which had expired shelf lives, with a total value exceeding 15 billion soums, were seized.
A criminal case has been initiated against the offenders based on the relevant articles of the Criminal Code, and investigations and expert examinations are currently being conducted.
