News of a school director in the Furkat district of the Fergana region being interrogated and beaten by employees of the Internal Affairs Bodies caused sharp public outrage.
The Defense and Security Committee of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis stated that it has taken control of the situation. Senator Malika Kodirkhanova emphasized the need for strict measures against such violations of the law within the system.
