Dallas Cowboys defensive player MarShawn Lattimore attempted suicide after a police chase, as reported by the Texas Department of Public Safety.
According to reports, the incident occurred on the evening of November 5. After Lattimore violated a traffic rule, police attempted to stop him, but the footballer did not stop and drove away at high speed.
After the pursuit was terminated, his car was found wrecked. Law enforcement agencies reported that Lattimore had shot himself.
Agent Jonathan Persley remembered him as a "talented and lively footballer," expressing his deep sorrow over his death.
