The world's first fully autonomous kitchen system, the CA-1 Series 4, was launched at the REWE supermarket in Düsseldorf, Germany.
The robot kitchen from Munich-based company Circus SE prepares meals without human intervention: it takes the ingredients, cooks, washes dishes, and delivers the prepared meal to the customer.
The system can prepare 120 meals per hour, with prices starting from 6 euros.
The new generation of CA-1 uses artificial intelligence to monitor the condition of ingredients and reduce waste.
Company REWE recently planned to test such robot kitchens in two more locations.
