The Uzbekistan national team will face Iran in the final of the international friendly tournament being held in Al-Ayn, UAE, on November 18. The match will start at 21:00 Tashkent time at the "Hazza bin Zayed" Stadium.
On the way to the final, Uzbekistan, under the leadership of Fabio Cannavaro, defeated Egypt 2:0, while Iran overcame Cape Verde's resistance in a penalty shootout.
To date, the national teams have played 18 matches: Iran has won 11 of them, Uzbekistan has won 2, and 5 matches ended in a draw. The teams' last meeting was in the CAFA Cup final in September, where Uzbekistan won 1:0.
