“Today we concluded our participation in the World Championship. Along with this, my work with the U-17 national team, which I have served with all my heart for 3 years, has also come to an end. This path was not just a job for me—it was an honor, a responsibility, and a test from God. Over the three years, we went through arduous training sessions, joyful victories, and heavy defeats together. I was shoulder-to-shoulder with my team in both good days and bad," the coach wrote.

“The Asian Championship is an achievement written in golden letters”

Ismoilov calls the Asian Championship won this April the result of the team's hard work and the courage of a generation.

“Becoming the Asian champion in 2025 is the courage and aspiration of our children. This result is written in golden letters in the history of Uzbek football. In every training session, in every match, we defended the honor of our flag. Before every battle, there was one thought: this is for the Motherland, with all one's heart,” he emphasized.

“Justice and integrity were my main principles”

The coach stressed that throughout his career, selection was carried out solely based on hard work and character.

“I did not choose anyone based on their name, club, or acquaintances; I selected based solely on their hard work, behavior, and attitude. Every footballer called up to the national team deserved this right. I hold my head high for my decisions, today and tomorrow,” said Ismoilov.

“This is not the end—it is the beginning of a new stage”

The coach expressed his gratitude to the fans who supported him, the UFA leadership, his assistants, and the players.

“This end is not the closing of one door. It is the beginning of a new stage. Today, my path with this team has ended,” Ismoilov concluded.
