On November 21 of this year, a road patrol service inspector died as a result of being hit by a traffic violator's car in Namangan region. The press secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported on this.
According to him, at around 11:00 PM, when road patrol service employees signaled a Chevrolet Onix car moving in the territory of Davlatobod district, Namangan region, to stop, the driver, who did not have the appropriate documents, tried to escape without obeying the employees.
At that time, via radio, Senior Sergeant Vahobjon Mo'minov, who was on duty further ahead, was informed to take measures to stop the mentioned vehicle. At the moment when Vahobjon Mo'minov gave the stop signal to the driver, the driver hit the officer at high speed, inflicting a severe bodily injury that was life-threatening.
As a result of quick actions, the movement of the vehicle was blocked and the driver was detained.
However, Senior Sergeant Vahobjon Mo'minov died while being transported to the Regional Medical Association.
"The leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and numerous personnel express their deep condolences to the family members and relatives of the deceased Senior Inspector of the Road Patrol Service of the DIA DHS PPS, Senior Sergeant Mo'minov Vahobjon Abduvalievich, in connection with his death. Senior Sergeant Vahobjon Mo'minov had served faithfully in the internal affairs bodies since 2007. He is survived by his beloved wife, 2 daughters, and 1 son," the report says.
