France's Mayoly Pharma France appealed to the Ministry of Justice regarding the infringement of its rights to the "SMECTA/СМЕКТА" trademark by a local organization.

It was established that "A. O." LLC had produced 1,000 units of counterfeit products under the name "AKTIV SMEKTA", which is phonetically similar to the "SMECTA/СМЕКТА" trademark.

Regarding this situation, an administrative penalty was applied to "A. O." LLC in the amount of 100 times the BHM (41 million soums).

Furthermore, the company was ordered to cease all actions infringing on the rights to the "SMECTA/СМЕКТА" trademark.
