It is emphasized that the increase in hot water and heating tariffs will be caused by the rise in prices of three main resources: natural gas, electricity, and water.

Hot water and heating supply tariffs will be increased in 2026, said Ilhom To'rayev, Chairman of the Board of "Issiqlita'minoti" AJ, in a video published by the Ministry of Construction and Housing.

According to him, the increase in hot water and heating tariffs will be caused by the rise in prices of three main resources: natural gas, electricity, and water.

"Depending on their prices, we are forced to review our own prices. We plan to do this in a way that does not place a heavy burden on the population.

Currently, if the production cost of one gigacalorie (Gcal) of hot water averages 500,000 soums across regions, 75-80 percent of it is reimbursed by the state as a subsidy. This is a concession—a subsidy—provided by the state so that people do not face difficulties. It is natural to wonder how long we will remain on subsidies and when we will reach the actual cost. I can say definitively: we have a set plan to exit the subsidies while reducing the production cost. True, the population's share will also increase, and to some extent, the burden on the population will also grow. But the primary task set before our enterprises is to reduce the production cost," said Ilhom To'rayev.
