At least 7 people were killed in a series of explosions in Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. Zamon.uz reported this, citing Al Arabiya and local law enforcement agencies.
According to reports, initially, a remotely controlled improvised explosive device planted on the roadside targeted a pickup truck and exploded.
Shortly after, while the injured were being taken to a medical facility, a second explosion occurred. As a result, the number of victims reached at least seven.
So far, no group has claimed responsibility for the attack. At the same time, the presence of the "Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan" (TTP) group, which is active in the region, has been noted.
The Pakistani government links the deteriorating security situation in the region to the activities of groups in neighboring Afghanistan. The Afghan side has consistently denied these allegations.
