An ethno-cultural program was organized for the leaders of the SCO member states at the "Ala-Archa" state residence in Bishkek. The traditional "Kyrgyz Aily" complex introduced the guests to the lifestyle, national crafts, and cultural heritage of the Kyrgyz people.
At the event, which featured yurts, national items, and works of folk artisans, the leaders were also presented with panels made by hand and national musical instruments as gifts.
During the excursion, Russian President Vladimir Putin showed interest in the performance of a young komuz player, took the musical instrument in his hands, and tried to repeat several chords shown to him.
