According to data from the National Statistics Committee, of the tourists who arrived in the country in the past 10 months, 5.27 million were men and 4.45 million were women.
By age categories, the largest share fell to those aged 31–55 — 4.88 million people. Those aged 19–30 accounted for 1.59 million, those aged 0–18 for 1.28 million, and those aged 56 and older for 1.97 million.
The significant growth in tourist flow is explained as a result of the expansion of tourism infrastructure, the geography of air travel, and visa-free regimes in the country.
