The head of the Administration of the President of Uzbekistan, Saida Mirziyoyeva, emphasized that there should be no place for lawlessness and corruption in the country. She wrote about this today, June 22, on her Telegram channel.
It was reported that on the same day, the new Chairman of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Robakhon Makhmudova, was introduced to the community of judges and the heads of law enforcement agencies.
Saida Mirziyoyeva noted that President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has repeatedly emphasized justice as one of the most important values for people.
"There must be no place for lawlessness and corruption in our society. Indeed, any reform aimed at development and prosperity will only gain real power under the reliable protection of an independent court," she wrote.
According to her, a judicial system based on the principles of English law is currently being formed at the Tashkent International Financial Center. In this regard, it was noted that it is important for existing courts to also study advanced international experience and apply it in their activities.
Mirziyoyeva stated that the judicial system should not become dependent on certain individuals, but should become a clear and continuously functioning mechanism, regardless of personnel changes. She also emphasized that every judge must be worthy of the judicial mantle while maintaining high honor and reputation.
"I wish Robakhon Anvarovna great success in maintaining a strong will and always making prudent, honest, and fair decisions," said the head of the Presidential Administration.
Let us recall that Robakhon Makhmudova was elected Chairman of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Uzbekistan on June 18 for a term of five years.
