At the engineering school, educational programs in four specialized fields in the transport sector have been organized based on a new approach. In particular, students who have completed their second year with high indicators will receive a two-year dual education on modern training platforms developed based on the requirements of the BYD plant. Students also undergo practical training in direct cooperation with the plant, which gives them the opportunity to obtain a certificate for a specialized job placement.

Short-term preparatory courses teach professions of interest to candidates entering the automobile plant, plant workers, and unemployed youth. A mini-conveyor for BYD automobile production has also been organized here. The production workshop has sections for welding, painting, assembly, and quality control.

Specialized rooms have been organized for the fields of electric vehicle and charging station structure, electric vehicle maintenance, industrial and software engineering, and design and reverse engineering.

There is one rule in the world automobile industry: a company that does not analyze its competitor cannot develop.

For the first time at this engineering school in Jizzakh, skills such as technical-analytical product comparison, cost modeling, production optimization, and process comparison with global standards are also being taught.

The engineering school is open not only to students but also to youth and specialists wishing to work in the field. Advanced training programs, initial vocational training courses, and practical training modules for entrepreneurs have been organized here. Leading specialists and experienced engineers from manufacturing enterprises actively participate in them.

The main goal of the school is to introduce the student to a practical environment before they enter the workplace as a ready specialist. As a result, graduates become mature and competitive specialists who fully meet market demands.

The head of our state observed the training process at the school and conversed with students working on the mini-conveyor.

Our President also communicated here with activists from the republic and the region.

It was noted that in recent years, good results have been achieved in industry, agriculture, and many other sectors in Jizzakh. However, it was also said that many opportunities remain untapped.

"We came to Jizzakh with the goal of identifying new growth points. The main thing is to create decent conditions for the population, especially young people, and provide them with high-income jobs," said the head of our state.
