A black bear unexpectedly attacked its trainer during a performance at the Hangzhou Safari Park in China's Zhejiang province. Footage of the incident spread quickly online.
According to reports, there were two bears and two staff members on stage. After the show ended, a bear jumped on one staff member and knocked him to the ground.
Other staff used chairs and sticks, but the bear attacked again.
According to a statement from the park administration, neither the trainer nor the bear sustained serious injuries. The bear's participation in performances has been temporarily suspended due to the incident.
