"Uzhydromet" specialists provided information about the reasons for the discrepancy between the indicators of official stations and private air quality sensors. According to the organization, many sensors installed by companies and citizens are recording incorrect results due to violations of technical requirements.

They stated that placing devices in violation of standards complicates the objective assessment of atmospheric quality and negatively impacts the accuracy of information delivered to the public. For this reason, "Uzhydromet" has developed special recommendations for sensor owners.

The agency will hold an open doors day on December 9 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Those wishing to install private sensors can get answers to all their questions from specialists there.

The agency added that since the "Air Tashkent" system uses data only from certified official stations, it is natural for its indicators to differ from platforms like IQAir.
