It is known that the defendant went to Russia in November 2024 to work and was recruited into the Russian army in March 2025 after being promised a large sum of money. After undergoing 10 days of military training in the city of Voronezh, he was deployed to a military unit in Luhansk. He participated in combat operations against Ukraine until June 2025.

In one of the battles, he was seriously wounded as a result of a drone attack by the Ukrainian army. He was later treated in Moscow and sent back to the front. The defendant fled from there and returned to Uzbekistan via Kazakhstan on August 4, 2025.

His participation in combat operations was confirmed during the investigation and through photographic evidence found on his phone. The forensic medical examination noted that he had moderately severe bodily injuries.

The court, taking into account the defendant's admission of guilt, remorse, lack of prior convictions, and health condition, applied a mitigated punishment to him.

According to the verdict, he was found guilty under Part 1 of Article 154 of the Criminal Code and sentenced to 3 years of deprivation of liberty.
