In China, an employee went to the restroom 14 times within a month, with some of these visits lasting over an hour. The longest one lasted for 4 hours.

Although the employee explained this situation was due to hemorrhoids, the court did not find his evidence sufficient.

The court ruling noted that the time spent in the restroom far exceeded physical necessity, and also that the worker had not taken sick leave.

The company confirmed the situation through surveillance cameras and dismissed the employee with the consent of the trade union.

After the court proceedings, the company agreed to pay the former employee compensation of 30,000 yuan.
