The Caspian Summit will be organized in the Avaza national tourist zone located in the city of Turkmenbashi on the Caspian Sea coast. This was announced by the Chairman of the People's Council of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, during a telephone conversation with the Chairman of the Federation Council of the Russian Federation, Valentina Matviyenko.
It is noted that the Avaza territory has all the necessary infrastructure for holding major international forums. Furthermore, as the state chairing the CIS starting from 2026, Turkmenistan is also preparing for events of the Interparliamentary Assembly and on demographic issues.
We recall that the previous summit of CIS Heads of State took place on October 10, 2025, in the city of Dushanbe.
