In the Fergana Valley, more than 32 kg of narcotics brought from Tajikistan were seized.

During rapid operations conducted by the DXX, several major drug addiction cases were exposed in the cities of Kokand and Fergana.

During rapid operational measures carried out in the Fergana region by the State Security Service in cooperation with customs and internal affairs bodies, more than 32 kilograms of narcotic substances smuggled from Tajikistan were seized as material evidence.

It is reported that in the residence of a citizen born in 1984 in the city of Kokand, over 4.5 kg of opium and more than 1 kg of hashish were discovered. Furthermore, based on the geolocation he provided, approximately 10 kg of opium was confiscated from the territory of Dangara district. In another case, over 7 kg of opium was seized from an individual born in 1969 who had organized a narcotics laboratory in Kokand.

At the same time, several criminal cases related to hashish and opium substances were exposed during rapid operational measures conducted in Lacetti and Nexia cars, as well as in the city of Fergana. A portion of the narcotic substances was seized with material evidence while being sold for 150 million soums.

Currently, criminal cases have been initiated under Articles 246 and 273 of the Criminal Code regarding all incidents, and the preventive measure of detention has been applied to the suspects. Investigative actions are ongoing.
