Last year, 11.5 million tourists visited Uzbekistan, and tourism exports amounted to 4.7 billion dollars.
The goal is to increase the number of tourists to 20 million by 2030. For this purpose, ambassadors in countries such as Russia, Belarus, South Korea, Germany, and the USA will carry out special tasks in tourism and culture.
Particular attention is being paid to doubling the number of tourists from the USA this year.
